COTTAGE POINT | SYDNEY | AUSTRALIA

BY ROAD

We’re located on the waterfront in Cottage Point, tucked into Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, just 40 minutes north of Sydney CBD.

From Sydney, turn off Mona Vale Road onto McCarrs Creek Road at Terrey Hills and follow the signs to Cottage Point. The Kiosk is at the end of Cottage Point Road.

The road and public street parking can get busy on weekends and during holidays, so please allow extra time if you have a café or boat/kayak hire booking. See details below for parking options.

Please note, there is no public transport to Cottage Point.

by WATER

We’re located on Cowan Creek, right next to the Ku-ring-gai Motor Yacht Club, in a peaceful, sheltered part of the creek surrounded by bushland. Cowan Creek connects directly to the Hawkesbury River, making it an easy stop for boats exploring the waterways.

For visiting boats, we have one mooring near our dock for vessels up to 40ft, and there’s space on our small private dock for smaller boats, tenders and kayaks under 4.5m. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis, with a 2-hour limit, and anyone using the dock or mooring should stay at the Kiosk during their visit. We don’t provide a tender service.

Alternatively, there are two public moorings near the Cottage Point public wharf, or the Ku-ring-gai Motor Yacht Club may have casual moorings available (fees apply). Please contact them directly on 9456 3538.

There are currently no ferries servicing Cottage Point.

PAID OFF-STREET PARKING

Paid off-street parking is available for Cottage Point Kiosk & Boat Hire customers who have made an online booking for a table at the café or a boat/kayak hire.

After your café or boat/kayak hire booking is confirmed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to book an off-street parking space for your visit.

Off-street parking is offered as a paid option and isn’t automatically included with your booking.

Parking needs to be booked and paid for online at least one day in advance. Unfortunately, same-day and phone bookings for parking aren’t available.

FREE ON-STREET PARKING

There is free on-street parking along Cottage Point Road. It can get busy on weekends and holidays, so it’s a good idea to allow a little extra time to find a spot.
