Cottage Point is the perfect location to launch your day of adventure on the scenic waterways of Cowan River sheltered by the beautiful evergreen Kuring-gai Chase National Park. The waters are calm and protected, and are plentiful in secluded beaches, natural waterfalls, birdlife and marine life which are best discovered by boat or kayak. Whether you’re looking for a fun day out with the family cruising on the river and maybe throwing a line in, or spoiling that special someone with a romantic picnic and stroll along a secluded beach, you will find what you’re looking for and more whilst exploring our magical waterway.
WALK
Fancy a wander about.. the Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park offers some of the most pristine bush near Sydney. It feels like you’re miles away from civilisation and connecting with nature on a whole new level.
SWIM
We are all about chasing waterfalls and our local knowledge will point you in the right direction. Most of the secluded water-holes and beaches that are perfect for swimming are only accessible by the water. Ask us about Refuge Bay and how to get there!
PADDLE
If you want to take your time to explore the mangroves, secluded beaches and tighter waterways… there is no better way to do it then on Kayak. Soak up nature at its best and spend a few hours investigating the local fauna and flora.
